A SPECIAL PLACE:
At around the turn of the century in the 1920's the Bonnie Brae cabin became a favorite place for the McSween family to escape the heat of Summer. With the natural cooling of the mountain valley and the mountain spring fed creek, a special place along the creek became the home place for this special cabin.

This location became really special in the middle of the century when it was visited and enjoyed by President Truman, Governor Clement of Tennessee, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Minnie Pearl, and others. Their news of their enjoyment of the location and facilities reached many others who also visited or requested to visit.

During the last part of the Century the home was sold and remodeled into a modern facility with guarded respect for the heritage and atmosphere that made the place so popular.

Now the owners have decided to make the facility available to the public for rental for the first time. Just come on up to the Bonnie Brae and start soaking up the rich mountain atmosphere.
